The Little Prince

The Little Prince
Antoine De Saint-Exupery
Genre: Adventure
128 pages

After eight days have passed and the pilot heard how the Little Prince had come to earth, his drinking water had ran out. He then headed out with the Little Prince worried that the Little Prince and him might die from hydration. After a short walk they found a fountain. A really clean one at that. They drank and felt good and fresh again. The pilot had told the little prince that he need to work on his plane and would not come to meet the little prince in there usual place. Then the Little Prince went to visit his "friend" the snake who and made a really weird request to him, as in a planning.

There are many things to this book since this book is just great and poetic. One big theme is Growing up, the author talks about how grown ups lose there imagination and don't have time to focus on what they truly love with there heart because they are to distract with there work and providing to their family's

“Goodbye, said the fox. And now here is my secret, a very simple secret. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye.”

I choose this quote because its just beautiful plus because it goes along to what I wrote above how grown ups only see the material things, yet kids look with there hearts, thats why they are full of love and innocents

  2. I love this book because it is a children's story that is actually made for adults (a bit confusing :)) and it has so much moral in it. What's intresting is that my mum has written a whole guitar concert fore that book, has shorten it and mad a show for narator and guitar player, she has already performed the whole show in Oslow and Geneva. Adults often cry at the fox scene.
