"The Little Prince"
Antoine De Saint-Exupery
Genre: Adventure
128 pages
Me and my parents are getting quite far into the book and are really near to finishing. I love the fact that in this book a small rose may mean something much more valuable then we think, as you'll notice in the quote bellow which i found
Quote: "People where you live," the little prince said, "grow five thousand roses in one garden... yet they don't find what they're looking for...
They don't find it," I answered.
And yet what they're looking for could be found in a single rose, or a little water..."
Of course," I answered.
And the little prince added, "But eyes are blind. You have to look with the heart.”
I like this quote a lot because it describes the way everyone feels or thinks, in people would look and think with their hearts rather then their brains a world would be a better place and would have a better future for the children
Quote:“What makes the desert beautiful,' said the little prince, 'is that somewhere it hides a well...”
I absolutely love this quote (more then the one i posted above) because it makes so much sense and is so knowledgeable, i can't describe how good this quote is to me
The thing which i love or attracts me most the the protagonists (because there are two) for the little prince is his wisdom for his age and the way he is describe and how he in one way opened the eyes of the narrator/pilot. And the pilot i liked because he is a grown man but yet behaves like a child himself and i like how he be-friends the little prince. The little prince remains me of my little brother in one way with all the smart dialog he says, but yet his personalty is very different, he kind of reminds me of a adventure seeker instead of traveling to remote countries and places the little prince travels planets. One example from the book were the little prince reminds me of my little brother would be the quote, it seems like something my brother would say

I love the little prince! He's so adorable. He finds such important in a little rose and a volcano...
ReplyDeleteI like your quotes, I agree with the first one that sometimes people are blind because they use their eyes instead of their heart. Sounds like cool protagonists and that they have a connection :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the quote, and that you made it long. Also I agree with alex that just by looking at someone, you wont be able to figure out their story, you need to look inside their heart.
