So, if you didn't read the last post, the story is about a 100 year old man who Jumps out of the window and disappears. The story is set in Sweden although when it switches back in time he goes all over the place. There are two separate stories, both from different parts of the old mans life. One that is set in the past, one in the present, and they switch back and fourth every fifty or so pages. This can sometimes be very annoying, when the author purposefully cuts you off from a very important bit, just to keep you reading. A very brief story is as follows. He began as a dynamite maker, after dropping out of school when he was ten. Unluckily he manages to blow someone up and spends a few years in a mental asylum. This was purely by accident. When he is free he gets a job at a dynamite factory but soon escapes and goes to Spain and blows up some bridges. He then goes to china and as a coffee server, solves the final puzzle of building the atomic bomb. He then goes to China and blows up some more bridges. After that he treks across the Himalayas and goes to Pakistan, where he prevents Churchill from being assassinated by the secret police. He then travels to Sweden, where he is hired by the Russians (and taken to a submarine) where he is asked to help them build an atomic bomb, in exchange for some vodka. To the present. Long story short he is on the run from the police having made three friends and killed two henchmen of the gang never again. He stole the suitcase from one of the gang members while he was using the toilet. That man was soon frozen solid inside a freezer room. The other one, Bucket was sent a little later but he was sat on by an elegant named Sonja. They are now on the run from the police, and one very angry gang leader with in a bus, with a suitcase full of money, 50,000,000 to be exact an elephant, a maddle aged red haired woman nicknamed the beauty  a jack of all trades and former hot dog stand owner, Benny a 70 year old masterful  Julian and of course Allan, the 100 year old man. I think the most interesting thing about Allan is the fact that he doesn't care about politics or religion, because, in his opinion, both of these where invented by idiots. This reminds me of the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, the author, Douglas Adams is atheist and clearly states that god doesn't exist by showing the readers why god would poof in a puff of logic if he where real. A quote from the Hundred Year Old Man WHo Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared  proving that is "Allan had always reasoned about religion that if you couldn't know for sure then there was no point in going around guessing."
