Elizabeth Cady Stanton is a child of 6.She had 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Two of her brothers died before she was even born and her other brother when he was in college.At that time Elizabeth was eleven. Her father wished that she was a boy and Elizabeth tried to fulfill his wish. A few years after 1830 , when Elizabeth graduated college, her mother had an child, and it was thankfully a boy. Elizabeth was an abolition.SHe fought for rights. During Elizabeth life, in the States racism was a big problem. There were protest, conventions and conferences about colored people.During that time big discutions were held about colored people and if they should have rights the same as white people and if the discrimination should be stopped. It was a hard time. During that period Elizabeth some how managed that women have equal rights as man. She was the first woman who started that topic and succeeded in women's voting choice.
Wow, her family is pretty complicated, are you her for living history? Many people have contributed in women's rights, it's really great seeing women standing up for themselves.
