This documentary has a lot of information about Cleopatra and generally ancient Egypt:

  • Almost every trace has been lost
  •         Almost every trace has been lost
  •     Her life wasn’t separated. It was politician and private together
  •  Most of the information that we have was given from the romans so we don’t know for sure if it happened
  •   She ended the Hellenistic period
  •  She was “The ultimate educated woman"

1.      Describe 3 significant contributions that your figure made and the impact of each.

Cleopatra was a great emperor and had a great impact to the Egyptian country. A contribution that she made was risking her palace and even her life to fight against the attacking armies and therefore Egypt stayed under her ruling. Also, with the money that she had she rebuilt Egypt. At last, she helped the country's economy and lowered the taxes.

2.      What is one MORE unique thing you have discovered

about your figure?

What I discovered about Cleopatra that is very unique is that she was the first Egyptian woman pharaoh but also the last ruler of Egypt.

3.      What are the different awards and prizes that your figure has been awarded.

She was "awarded" for being the most beautiful woman of Egypt and a great emperor

4.      Describe the death of your figure

Cleopatra's death was sudden and had a great impact on the people of Egypt. After the loss of a battle, her husband, Marc Anothony, killed himself and not much later Cleopatra committed suicide too by letting a poisonous snake bite her.

  1. Really nice blog post. I like how you did the summary in bullet points. And I got surprised by the way she died. That's a very unique way of committing suicide but it must have been too much for the poor lady.

  2. I never knew that Cleopatra was the last ruler of Egypt. Her death must have done a great deal to the mural of Egyptians. Her death seems very tragic.
