Title: Enders Game
Author: Orson Card
Genre: Sci-Fi
Pages: 231/324
The book Enders Game somehow got even more exciting. There have been so many changes. Ender's brother and sister Valentine and Peter teamed up, but for good. They are writing articles online about world problems, they are posting as adults. They are trying to prevent a third world war and any fighting between humans. They have online become respected. As for Ender he was the youngest boy to go from the launchies to the armies to a toon leader to a commander. He is widely respected and hated in Battle School. When he became a commander he was only ten, most were thirteen. He was made commander of a new army, the dragons. He was given only inexperienced soldiers and after a few weeks they started battles. They stayed undefeated. Ender was a fantastic commander. The teachers made them battle at least once every day, this was very painful to the boys. Teachers even made the rules very unfair they would give the other army more time to prepare, grappling hooks, and they would even have two teams together to fight the dragons. However the dragons still won every game. Since Ender was so successful other students hated him and one day older kids planned an attack. Boys always forgot that the school was training them for a war, "'Battle School is for training future starship captains and commodores of flotillas and admirals of the fleet'" (Card 120). The boy that fought him was Bonzo. Ender fought to save himself and without knowing he actually killed Bonzo. This same thing happened when the bully Stilson fought him. People always kept the fact that he killed two boys a secret from him. If all of this was not exciting enough, Ender even graduated from Battle School three years early. What was even stranger about this is that he was skipping Pre-Commander school and going straight to Commander school where only kids at the age of 16 or higher were. This section of the book was just so exciting I could barely stop myself from reading.
Rachel Carson
Rotation 4:
1. As I prepare to enter HS, how can I live my own life in a better way to fulfill the life goals I have for myself?
Though you can never completely be prepared for future life, there are some things I can do to help. One of the things that I can do is to make specific goals instead of veige goals that last your entire life.
2. What is one MORE unique thing you have discovered about your figure?
Another interesting fact about Rachel Carson is that at a very young age she had a fascination with the ocean. What makes this fact so interesting is that she had never seen the ocean before. She lived in Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania does not have a coast.
3. Describe your figure’s mentors and special trainings?
Rachel met her mentor in college. Her mentor was Mary Skinker, a biology teacher. Rachel followed Mary to John's Hopkins. Rachel never had any special training, she just worked hard. She went to elementary school, middle school, high school, and college, nothing special.
A secondary source that I found is a video about the changes Rachel made;

I really liked the sentence where you said she never had any special training, just worked hard. I liked your blogpost, although it confused me at first that your summary was about another book, and not your living history person, although I guess you finished your book already!? Maybe you could add a quote or something, but I really liked your secondary source, the video was very interesting.
