1. Describe 3 significant contributions that your figure made and the impact of each.

One of the significant things that Ghandi has done was be a huge help and reason for the independence of India to the British.  He did this by doing many civil dis obediances such as for instance when the British put taxes on the salt Ghandi did a huge walk to the see with many of his own followers to get his own salt. Another significant contribution that Gandhi made was   his influence on peoples reactions to situations. very often something would happen and Gandhi would go on a hunger strike until every bit of fighting stopped, he would not eat until each and every individual stopped and he had the power to do this. And also one more thing that Gandhi did was he taught people how to be productive nd peaceful at the same time. He taught many people how to be effective but not voilent or rude to have to do and get what you want.

2. What is one MORE unique thing you have discovered about your figure?

I found interesting that Gandhi was actually considered a funny man by many people that he knew personaly also for example once  reporter asked him on his opinion of the wetstern civilization and he replied saying he thinks it would be a good idea! and also the yer 1888 when he went to England to study that was the same year Jack the Ripper was everywhere.

3. What are the different awards and prizes that your figure has been awarded.
in 1930 Gandhi got Man of the Year by Time magazine and was a runner up to Person of the Century in 1999, Albert Einstein was the winner. And there is even a prize in his name called the Mahatma Gandhi Peace Prize. He never won the Nobel Peace Prize but in between the years of 1937 and 1948 he was nominated 5 times and

4. Describe the death of your figure.
Gandhi was assasinated by Nathuram Godsed. This was the same person that tried to kill him 5 times before this sixth time where he succeeded. Gandhi was standing outside on the steps waiting for a prayer meeting to strt and was surrounded by his family and some close followers and that was when 3 gunshots hit him

I have finished reding my book and this is a cool website that i found with a lot of quotes from Gandhi on them
