I will base my summery on the website/article I am reading about Lorenzo called: Princeton.edu (Lorenzo de Medici)
This website or shall i say article has everything about Lorenzo. It has his childhood, the politics he was involved in, keep in mind that he did finish a high class school on politics in his prime, and used all his knowledge that he had gathered and applied it to his ruling. It also talks about how he was involved with the Renaissance embracing a really significant time in the medieval era. Along with all of these things it talks about his family and all the achievements in live. After reading this article I might have to re rewrite my essay as I have time to do so, and put in some of the information listed on this website because they are pure gold, information that I haven't seen on any other website.
1) As I prepare to enter HS, how can I live my own life in a better way to fulfill the life goals I have for myself?
I think that the life I have been living till this day was near perfect. I have all the components to living a happy life, which are the following: I have a great family who believes in me and loves me very much as I do them. The will to follow my dream job, and a positive attitude about everything
2) What was one more unique thing you have discovered about your figure
One unique thing I have found out was that Lorenzo de Medici was the smartest of the five children and thats why he was accepted to the thrown
3) Describe your figures and special training.
"was considered the brightest of the five children, tutored by a diplomat, Gentile Becchi. He participated in jousting, hawking, hunting, and horse breeding for the palio, a horse race in Siena. His own horse was named Morello di Vento." -http://www.princeton.edu/~achaney/tmve/wiki100k/docs/Lorenzo_de__Medici.html
Quote:
"How beautiful is youth, that is always slipping away! Whoever wants to be happy, let him be so: of tomorrow there's no knowing."
-Lorenzo de Medici

I really like the quote you put at the end and it is soooo true, you should always be he enjoying life. For his horses's name doesn't it have something to do with wind?
ReplyDeleteI like how you said "pure gold", it obviously shows that this website was useful to you. Also, I like the quote, which kind of matches your goal since you're already happy with what you've got, and believe that you will achieve greatness with their guide.
