Enders Game/ Rachel Carson

Title: Ender's Game
Author: Oscar Card
Genre: Sci-FI
Pages: 282/324

The Ender's Game has not changed incredibly. Ender is still at Commander's School. What has changed is that some of the people he thought were the best in battle school came to be leaders. Ender is the last hope for a great leader. His mentor is the man you won the first war by killing the bugger queen. However now the buggers know humans and will fight them better.  The mentor is Mazer who tests Ender. Mazer has no sympathy for Ender he likes him but he has lost all his family because he was away so long, and if it were for nothing he would have nothing. Ender is now learning more and more about buggers and what happened. During training Mazer said the maneuvers being made were better than what he saw the buggers do in the first war. Mazer and Ender have a strange connection they are not enemies but they are not friend as you can see here, "'You can't grind me down, Маzer.' 'Oh, can't I?' 'Because I'm stronger than you.' Mazer smiled. 'We'll see about that, Ender.'"(Card 277). They have a friendly rivalry. I am really excited to read what will happen while approaching the war and if they will fight, or if there are any buggers even there.
