Ban Ki-moon in Baghdad. During conference, there was a motar
attack near conference room.
Ban Ki-moon is a South Korean Secretary General in UN. He succeed Kofi Annan, previous UN Secretary General. He started his career as a South Korean diplomat. He had his post in India, America, and Austria. He began his career in United Nations as a chief staff to Han seung-soo, the president of the general assembly. He works for world peace and for the greater good.
Persuade us to consider your figure as the “greatest” human being who ever lived. Give is 3 reasons with evidence. Use persuasive language.
My figure is the greatest human being who ever lived. He cared about other people and wanted to do something for them. For example, when he was in 6th grade, he heard about the Soviet invasion against the communist rule in Hungary. He felt that this was not the right thing to do for Soviet Union. So he wrote a petition to UN secretary general denouncing Soviet Union's invasion. And also, he wrote a speech, and read it off in front of the whole school. Secondly, the reason why he cares about other people is, that he is the UN Secretary General who traveled the most. When he was in Baghdad, he was having a conference with the officials, there was a motar attack near the conference room. He could have died. He could have not traveled there, but he traveled there for the people. Lastly, he worked his way up the success unlike some other people. He grew up in war. He experienced Korean war, and studied in shacks. He wanted to be a diplomat, so he studied English really hard. Although the learning environment was bad, he visited American technical advisers in local fertilizer factory to learn English. He definitely is a great human being.
