During this weeks reading Peeta and Katniss try to stun the audience so that during the games people sponsor them, give them what they need.
Peeta as usual is charming and nice. But Katniss is sassy to the people she doesn't like. But during the interview with caesar(the head of the major t.v show that premiers before the games).
Katniss wore a stunning flaring dress and lots of golden make. Peeta wore a dark black suit and was covered in make up as well.
During the interviews both were charming funny and interesting. Katniss talked to the audience but only looked at the person she was comfortable and nice to, Cinna her make up artist. She talked about the 11 she received during the judging and talked about her sister. How she volunteered to spare her little 12 year old sister from getting slaughtered during the games. Peeta talked about being a bakers boy but most excitingly. He revealed his love for Katniss in front of the whole world.
After the interviews Katniss got very upset at Peeta for making her look weak when actually he was doing them both a favor. They would et more sponsors because of the "love" between them.

i love the hunger games, altough i hate the ending of the third book! your blog post is really cool :)

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the hunger games trilogy, although as Despina mentioned the ending to the third one is a bit disturbing. I find it funny the way you casually mentioned slaughtered. I think you're missing a few sentences though.
