Quote
from the book: "Harry gave his head a little shake and there was Fawkes, still resting his head on Harry arm. A pearly patch of tears was shining all around the wound - except that there was no wound"
This line from the book appears towards the end. This single line tells us that Harry Potter will still survive. Fawkes is Albus Dmubledores fenix. A bird with magical powers to heal wounds with its tears. Without this bird, harry would have died from a bite of a venomous snake. This quote is a relief point of the book. It is where the story goes down hill and ends on a happy note.
What
happened until now:
So
this week I started and finished the whole book, so this summary might be a bit
longer than my previous one. So harry is going back to school however many
things are stopping him. So while harry is ready to walk out the door he
receives a warning from a mysterious and impish house elf Dobby that if he
returns to Hogwarts disaster will strike. Harry knows he needs to go back
because since that is where he belongs, not in the muggle world with his aunt,
uncle and the hideous Dursley. As he leaves for the train he is unable to pass
through the wall for some mysterious reason, so he and his best friend Ron take
the flying car which Rons father programmed. During the beginning of the
year everything seems normal. He continues his learning and going to quidditch.
However one thing has changed, Draco Malfoy, Harrys enemy, is now on the
Slytherin team.
Harry
and Ron serve detention for roaming the castle at night Harry starts hearing
voices from the walls. It wants to kill him, tear him and rip him. Harry hears
the voice again, however Hermione and Ron aren't able to. It leads him to a
very disturbing scene. A message written on the wall in blood "The chamber
of secrets has been opened, enemies of the heir beware" As well as Mrs.Norris
(Mr.Filchs cat) is hanging from a torch as if she is dead. Professor Dumbledore
explained that the cat was petrified. Of course Hermione being herself, she
looked at the small details like the writing on the wall, she was so curious to
find out she went to Professor Lockhart to find out what was that warning on
the wall about. He explains that when Salzar Slytherin didn't want mudbloods in
the school. So he left the school, and created a chamber. He sealed it until
his true heir came out and opened it again. The heir could also unleash and
control the monster which lies in the chamber, and use it to purge the school
of all who were unworthy to study magic, that is mudbloods. The first thing
they come up with is Draco Malfoy, he could be the heir of Slytherin. They
decide to use a potion to become Crab and Goil (Dracos friends) to spy on them
however this potion takes a bit of time to make.
During
the first quidditch match harry break his arm and is forced to stay in the
hospital. During his stay he finds out who was preventing him from reaching Hogwarts.
He also finds out that other kids are starting to be petrified like Mrs. Norris;
he needs to find out what is going on. During the dueling club harry and
everyone else find out he can speak parseltongue (he can communicate with
snakes). Since the heir of Slytherin can as well people start thinking he is
the one causing the attacks and that he is the heir of Slytherin. Other people get
petrified and harry is blamed.
Finally
the potion is finished, as they go to spy on Draco, they find nothing, they
realize he doesn’t know anything about the chamber and can’t be the heir.
THUMBS UP!!!
