Calypso is a teenage girl that is running away from FISTS (Forensic Investigation Security Teams). Well... she is not quite sure. As far as I understand from what I have read, she is not aware of where she is, why she is running and from whom. She only knows that they started looking for her after she did something with her friends. From the clues she gives, I think it has to do with social networks since she refers to the internet. Almost all of them are arrested so, she doesn’t have anyone to talk to, to answer her questions! The only thing she knows is that she has to run... as quickly as her feet hold her. I think from the way she describes her conditions that she left recently from Phoenix -her home- because she is hungry and tired but not enough to stop. She also mentions a friend of hers, Crease that is probably in prison or at detention center where they put you a microchip so they can locate you wherever you are and resocialize you. Since she is hungry and her thighs hurt she decides rob an icecream van, not just to eat the ice cream but to free her pain. But when she was about to leave the van holding a bunch of ice creams, the police comes and asks for the ice cream man's license.Hiding in the ice cream van, she found a way to decrease her pain and get out of the vehicle. While Mr. Carter- the ice cream man- was asking a small girl what kind of ice cream she would like, she rushed out of her hideout and sprinted as fast as her legs allowed her. Holding the ice cream box, she runs through streets and corners looking for a good place to rest and to cool her bruise. She found a dark abandoned basement that looked scary but she didn’t mind. Calypso sat on the stairs wet from the rain and called herself a rat.She closed her eyes for a minute while thinking... I need a hospital, money and a really good plan! Trying to remember what view her room in the hospital had when she first visited it to find out where it is, she arrived in magic kingdom where the hospital is. This is city was like a fairy tale. Small houses in different colors and streets full of joy. Walking up the main street, she sees the hospital. But it is not what she expected it to look like. It was totally destroyed. Windows were broken, parts of the building where missing and there was a sign on the gate Keep Out, Private Property. She was so desperate, that she climbed over the fence and walked at the drive way. On a smashed bench, she finds a teddy bear. She sits on the remains of the bench and hugs the teddy bear. While Caly ‘asks’ the teddy bear how it is called, it answers: My name is Andy, and I loooove honey... Wondering what kind of ‘magical powers’ the teddy had, she entered the building. On the second floor she found a chair and sat on it closing her eyes and thinking she was going to rest for a while. But since fate is not with her, a man wakes her up asking her what she is doing on his chair. He looked crazy so Caly just said a polite sorry. In order her staying at the hospital, the man made some rules. That she can sit on the chair only when she gets permission and she will be very careful of leaving hair in the bathroom or the chair because they can identify them. After the ‘speech’ he gave about living here he said that he had to go on  mission and he gave her a bottle top that he called it a key. Although she knew it wasn’t really a key to the FISTS computers where they have all the information of citizens and videos from cameras, she kept it.

A quote from the book: "A moving target is harder to hit" This is my favorite quote from what i have read so far because she is always moving in places and trying not to get seen from the FISTS and it totally represents Calypso's situation
I really like this book because it makes you read more and more, the events happen in a time that you never get bored and although it is not well know, it has good rates. In my opinion it will never get boring for me.
So... THUMBS UP!
