This book talks abut this girl that goes to the house of an old lady and everyone in the village thinks that she is a witch and that she dose witch things to people but the girl dosent believe it so she goes to the house of the woman and she goes to her house to keep her company and she disobeys the rules from her uncle she lived whit her uncle and her aunt.She was helping this old lady bellicose she was alone and sad then she met this girl that did not know how to read or write she did not know anything so she taught her to write and read then they become friends it was one of the only friends she had and other 2 boys that she had as friends.she never hang out whit her family she usually was outside hanging out whit the old lady or her friends her friends went to the old lady's house too it was not only her.near the end of the book it is discovers that the old  is actually a witch and she transformed the girl a witch  and her went to prison because the village hated witches they were terrified of them they did not want to here the name "witch".
