Title: The Iceman
Author: This was a short story from my Wordly Wise Book
Genre: Non-fiction
Comments:
This short story is about a man living in the Neolithic age, who was discovered by a couple going on vacation during winter. However, there is more to it, but this was the basic theme of this story.
I chose this story because it was very gruesome to me. This is because I was shocked by the fact that they found a man who lived 4,500 years ago, and had a grimace face that was terrifying if you would actually imagine it. You can notice that I’m using the words I learnt from this Wordly wise lesson. J
Getting back to summarizing this story, when the scientists found out how many years he stayed there in the pile of snow, I was thrilled, I’m pretty sure the scientists were too! Fyi, he only lived 30-40 years, according to the abrasion of his front teeth and the wear on his joints. When they found his body, they had to pick him up gingerly; because if they picked him up quickly, they might lose some of his belongings, and that would be unfortunate because they wouldn’t find out the amazing facts they know until now. He wore, of course, old clothing and carried with him a boy and arrow, and a knife. I found this quite logical, since they didn’t have knives back then. After they were done with everything, they put him and the equipment in a museum for other tourists to see.

This wasn’t one of my favorite short stories, but it’s surely one that I would recommend to everybody interested in mummies, Neolithic age, and history.
