Title: The Host
Author: Stephenie Meyer
Pages: 617 Hardcover.
Genre: Science Fiction
This book, written by Stepehnie Meyer, the author of the Twilight series, covers a really interesting topic. Aliens. When the unknowns race, the Souls take over the earth. Melanie "Mel" Stryder is one of the only rebel humans left after the invasion of the 'souls'.Wanderer, the invading "soul" who has been given Melanie's body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.
I like this book, since it avoids all the sci-fi cliches, and focuses mainly on the human beings and reality. It's a really good book for people with imaginations and all sorts of creations, and since in those kinds of books, there is not illustrations, you have to thinkof it yourself :)
