The Pearl

These past few weeks in English we've been reading The Pearl. Its a great book about a man called Kino who finds a massive pearl that turns his world upside down. He if lied to, cheated, attacked, and forces to run away and I'm only a little over half way through the book so I'm excited to figure out what happens next. I think that the story isn't just about a massive pearl i think its symbolism for what greed, and jealousy can do to you and the people around you. This is a really good book with a lot of meaning and life leasons on nearly every page, i can't wait to see what happens at he end.
