This week i began reading my Historic Fiction book for English, Goodnight Mr.Tom. Goodnight Mr. Tom is a story is set during the time when world war 2 was going on and all the children from large cities like London are being evaluated into small villages in the country side, where they are sent to live with complete strangers, that act almost like foster parents until its safe for them to return to their real homes. Mr. Tom is a sixty year old man who is looking after a young boy coming from London called Willie. Where i am in the book right now Willie has just arrived the very night and is trying to get used to quiet gentel Mr.Tom. Willie comes from a home where his mother beats him because she says that he is "wicket little boy!" of course Willie thinks that this is his fault so even slight sudden movements made my Tom startles Willie into complete horrific trauma, one time he even faints!
