For the first book to read in class was "The Pearl" i like it but what really drives me crazy was that John Steinbeck was that he put some much details in some things that he wrote i hate people that put too much detail in the things they say.Kino was the main character in the story this explains what actually happens in the story "When the news oh kino's grate find the "Pearl of the world" spreads through the small town no one suspects its power to deceive,to corrupt,to destroy.This pearl has a lot of power.Kino was a a diver like his father and grandfather his father gave him a canoe the canoe to all that village that were diver's was a really important and expensive object.This pearl in the end of the story starts bringing bad luck at he end of the story the son of Kino and Juana die because one of the hunters shoots the baby and the baby dies that was the end and it was a really sad ending.
