This week we finished The Pearl :( the ending was incredibly sad, unexpected, and beautifully written! I was so surprised how maybe the most innocent, the only innocent character in this book, Coyotito had to suffer the most, and be burdened with the consequences of others greed. This is definitely a very well written story with a lot of imagery and symbolism, i loved this book i can see why Mrs.Hancock cries from the sadness and beauty of the ending and all round book. I would definitely read this book again because like the book The Giver its the type that you can read again and again and still find some meaning and discover something new every time.
