When Daniel, a boy from a little village in Israel, goes home to his grandmother and sister from the mountains, where he had ran away to and had been living for the past five years Daniel was surprised with how they acted. They had been expecting him to come, they had almost nothing to eat, and they ate the scraps of what was on Daniel's plate when he finished. The next day was the Sabbath, and one of his friends gave him a robe to wear. Jesus was there to preach. When the two boys listened they did not understand what he meant when he preached to them. When Daniel got back to his house, he felt homesick of his home in the mountains, so he sneaked away in the night, to go back home.
I wonder what reaction his grandmother and sister will have when they find out that he left and how bad Daniel will feel just leaving them?
