I have started reading the book "In the Arms of a Marquess." This is the third book in the series. It is written from the point of view of the two main characters- Miss Octavia Pierce (Tavy) and Lord Ben Doree (Ben). This book starts off in India when Tavy is going to move to London. She does not want to move because she feels like India is her home. Tavy is a very pretty girl and her parents wish that she will finally find a husband. The next chapter starts off with Ben sitting at his desk, a third son, never meant to inherit anything. He is now the fifth Marquess of Doree and quite wealthy. When Tavy arrives in London she is surprised to see Ben. What no one knows is that Ben and Tavy have a secret past. Tavy hopes she can put the past she had with him behind her.
Tavy's parents think that Marcus Crispin would be good for her, but Tavy knows Marcus is hiding something from her. She is determined to find out and need Ben to help her.
So far this book is interesting, i look forward to finishing it. I would recommend this book to girls mostly who like romance or history since it has a lot of both in it.
This sounds like a really interesting book, and something worth reading. Maybe, in the next post, you can mention the actual time period the book is set in, as well as your opinions on the characters, and the relationship between Ben and Tavy. :)
