Judy moody is always in a mood. On the last day of summer, she thinks that this new school year is going to be awful, she liked her old teacher and didn't want a new one, she hated new kids coming to school and getting all the attention. When she does finally gets to school she thinks that maybe its not that bad after all but still stayed in a mood which really annoyed the teacher. She again has assigned seats and has to sit next to the nerd of the class who has a crush on her. I think this book is really funny and parents should read it to their little kids. Its not a very advanced book but its sure interesting and fun to read.
