Hair Canada To The Heat?

Steve Nash, 38, is a 16-year NBA veteran, and a future hall-of-famer. Steve Nash has accomplished many things throughout his career, he has gotten the MVP award twice, he has been selected to eight All-Star teams, and was in the All-NBA-First-Team three times, the All-NBA-Second-Team twice, and the All-NBA-Third-Team twice. What's he missing? An NBA championship.

Presently, Nash is in the Phoenix Suns, who are an average team, which are destined not to make the playoffs this year. Nash was drafted to the Suns in 1996, and was traded to the Dallas Mavericks two years later in 1998. In 2004 Nash came back to the Phoenix Suns as a free agent, and was on the team until the present.
Steve Nash is on the verge of retirement, and after a future hall-of-fame career, he still does not have a ring. Now, Steve Nash's contract with the Suns ends in the end of this season, therefore he will have a chance to either sign back with Phoenix (and in my opinion never get a ring), or sign with a title contender like the Miami Heat, and potentially retire with a championship ring.
In conclusion, as Nash wants a ring, and Miami wants an improvement at the point guard position, it would be both of their best interests' if Nash just signed with the Heat at the postseason this year.

  1. I don't think Nash will sign. It's almost like asking Rondo to sign with Charlotte.
