Title: Theodore Boone, The Abduction
Author: John Grisham
Genre: Fiction

Comments:
I really like this book because it is written for my people my age. John Grisham is writing about a 14 year old boy, who wants to be a lawyer and tries to solve a mystery. John Grisham uses vocabulary which is easy to understand and when he there is a vocabulary which I do not understand because it is one that you use in a court, Theo often goes to the trials in town, then Grisham explains them very well. It is also interesting for me because the main character, Theodore Boone, is 14 years old like me. I think that almost all Grisham are good, but this one is especially for my age. Therefore I really enjoy reading this book.

In the book, Theo goes to his uncle Ike the first time. Ike used to be a lawyer and was also in the company Boone and Boone but then he did something bad, which Theo does not know and got kicked out. Ike calls Theo over to his house and tells him about the case. Ike has a lot of friends and therefore he knows all the new things happening in town. Theo tells the teachers in school that there will be an announcement about April, who was the girl who got abducted, and that they should watch it. The teachers decided to let them out of class for an assembly to see the announcement on TV. It was supposed to come at nine but it came 45 after that. That made Theo very stressed, because they were all watching TV and got out of class and the announcement was not even there. In the announcement the police states that the body, which was found in the river, was not April's. It was a man's body who has been in the water for a long time. That was the most important part of the 50 pages that I read this week.

  1. You seem like you really like the book. I also found it very interesting that children our age wrote a book with such perfection. Does it inspire you to write? Does this type of book fulfill your literate desire?
