Cantona: The Rebel Who Would Become King

Cantona: The Rebel Who Would Become King
Philippe Auclair
466 pages

This week I started reading Eric Cantona's Biography by Auclair, called Cantona: The Rebel Who Would Become King. The Biography takes a very detailed look at his life and goes into the tiniest details, an example is the author spent 8 pages describing the city in which Cantona grew up having nothing to do with Cantona himself. It is organized in the way of chronological order describing his birth and then how everything else went on. It also takes time to describe specific places such as Marseille. The writing of this Biography is on adult level and at times it might be hard to understand but it's not imposibble to read.

The unigue thing I found out so far is that he grew up quite far away from the city up in the hills of Marseille, but even though he has a lot of the characteristics of a person from Marseille that is that he is stuborn and is quite often hot-headed, but he still managed to change the world even though these to characteristics quite often interfered and made the way harder.
