She starts at the begining of the book by finding out that she has been guarded all her life by a pagan tribe who believe that she is destined to save them and that she and the high king will one day marry. She journey's to a meeting with her aunt and uncle, Queen Alyse and King Pellinore to a meeting of the Welsh Kings presided over by one of King Arthur's nights.
During this time Guinevere discovers that she has a very powerful high up enemy, King Arthur's sister, Morgana. During this time she learns about why morgana hates her.
I enjoy reading historical fiction and i have often enjoyed reading the legends of King Arthur therefor i found this book interesting. However I would not really recomend it as as book to read. I would probably rate it a 6/10.
The book sounds very interesting, but I think that you could put some more detail in your post and maybe talk about some of the other characters in the book and what they are like. I really liked how you told us the rating of the book and if you would recommend it or not.
