Lance Armstrong is the person i will be doing my living history project on. He was a great man. He won the Tour Da France 7 times in a row, then he got testicular cancer, which prevented him from racing and really effected his career as a biker. Because all his sponsors let him go because he had a 40% chance of living, so they had to let him go. Then also after testicular cancer he started funding all these cancer groups like crazy and wanted to help the kids to get better and live their life again. Also he created this cancer research group to find, cures for cancer, all kinds of cancer.
In the book, right now he is just telling me how he felt about the cancer and how it will probably ruin his biking career. I really like the book, it really interesting to know his thoughts on the cancer and how it will effect his life.
