Title: To Kill a Mokingbird
Author: Harper Lee
Genere: Classic
Numeber of Pages: 309

This story begins in a little county in South America called "Maycomb County". Jem and Scout are our two main characters in the story. Jem's real name is Jeremy Atticus Finch, and his sister, Scout, Jean Louise Finch. And their friend, Dill(Charles Backer Harris), who visits Maycomb every summer. For Jem and Scout, summer means Dill. Jem thinks Dill's kind of interesting, because he's done lot of things that they could not do in Maycomb county. "'Don't have any picture shows here. except Jesus ones in the court-house sometimes.' said Jem. 'Ever see anything good?' Dill gas seen Dracula, a revelation that moved Jem to eye him with the beginning of respect. 'Tell it to us,' he said." But the summer ends with Dill and the school starts for Jem, and Scout, this is her first year in school. And she reads with her dad at home, and can already read some advanced books. Her first grade teacher, Miss Caroline, is not happy about that. And she is anxious to introduce a new style of teaching. This is also Miss Caroline's first year teaching in Maycomb, and had some troubles getting along with children. For example, Walter Cunningham, who is a very poor kid from poor family who was poor for 3 generations in this town, did not bring his lunch to school because he cannot afford one. So Miss Caroline, without realizing that he is poor, decides to lend him a few quarters to let him buy some food. But, Scout tells Miss Caroline that Walter cannot accept the money because his family must not take anything from people unless you can pay back to them.
They have this creepy house that belongs to the Radleys,  which children thinks they are scary, and kills and do all the bad stuff and makes rumors about them.

#1 Discuss and describe your interview. Whom did you select and why? What did your chosen person express about reading literature? What was interesting to you about the interview?

I chose my mom, because my dad was too busy with his work, and my mom just loves to read. And she told me she always wanted me to read beautiful classics. The interview went very smooth, and I found our one of her favorite book is "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. And she told me she likes to read classic literature, as pride and prejudice, and she recommended Ms.Hancock a different book, "World Hunger Explained to My Son" by Jean Ziegler, who had positions in the United Nations.
