Lord of the flies

In the past few chapters, the narrator tells us what Ralph is thinking and we begin to understand the story better. Ralph decides that people are no longer following the rules and they are just playing around. He gets mad when no one helps him build the huts, when Jack becomes obsessed with hunting and when the hunters no longer care about keeping the fire going. As if they preferred to live on the island and never be rescued. He decides to call a meeting and discuss the problems on the island. Amongst the problems, they talk about the beastie that is terrifying the littluns. Ralph and Piggy get them to talk about their nightmares. The next day, Samneric are keeping the fire going and spot the beast, after running to Ralph and telling him what happened, everyone except Piggy and the littluns set off to hunt the beastie. After a day of hunting, Jack goes to the top of the mountain and sees the beast. The description is clear but we still do not know exactly what it is, and if it is the parachutist.
