Lord of the Files (Chapter 9)

Title: Lord of the Flies
Author: William Golding
Pages: (Chapter 9)
Genre: Novel/Fiction

As we are reaching the end of our class novel, Lord of the Flies by William Golding, a lot has happened and is coming to happen. In Chapter 9, A View to a death, one of our main characters - Simon - dies. Realistically, I think that this is proving that the boys are becoming more violent and that it goes back to that time they killed the sow. But symbolically, I believe that they are the ones that are 'the beast' on that island. And now that they have  lost one of their helpers, or so called 'friends', there will be consequences to it, and more will come.
What I really like about this book, is that you can't really predict whats next, but as i read i get that "weird" feeling or something similar to confusion, because there are some disturbing moments in this book.
I look forward to reading the next few chapters (even though I already read the book a while ago) and I want to find deeper connections to what will happen, and what all that 'violence' symbolizes in the boys. Desperation for survival? or hate? and that is to be discussed upon this book.
What is very distinctive about this book, is that the boys are hallucinating upon the 'beast', especially Simon in the previous chapter. They are taking the whole thing  little to seriously and they end up facing the fatal consequences of it.
