Of course, as all basketball fans worldwide should know, this question means what 'shines brighter' in the alley oop? Is it the pass or the dunk that is more spectacular? 64% of American basketball fans answered that the alley oop dunk is more attractive than the pass. My say on it? 50 - 50. If the pass is done from the other side of the court behind the back and the finish is just a small jump and not even a dunk, then obviously the passing part would be much more impressive than the finish, whereas if the pass is literally just being thrown up in the air above the player's head and the finish is the other player catching it in mid-air from the free throw line and dunking it in a reverse, then obviously the finish is much better. 64% of basketball fans in the U.S. agree with half my opinion and 36% agree with the other half of my opinion, as i think there is no side to choose in the alley oop, which is probably one of the nicest plays/moves in the whole game of basketball.
