Around the World in 80 days

Title: Around the World in 80 days
Author: Jules Verne
Pg. 263
Genre: Classic

I have read chapter 1 of this book and here is a summary of chapter 1. Phileas Fogg lives in London. He is quiet and private. No one knows too much about him except that he is habitual and rich. He spends most of his time at The Reform Club, where he eats and plays table games with other men of wealth and power. Phileas hires a new servant named Passepartout. Passepartout is a lively young man who, in contrast to Mr. Fogg, has led quite an exciting life. So far its really good.

  1. I have watched the movie based on this book a couple years ago, and as it was too complex for me because i was about 9 years old, i still remember i thought of how it would be to go through the whole world in 2 and a half months. Now after reading your blogpost about the book it really interests me and I might decide to read it in the futue.
