Everybody on the island is becoming anxious. Ralp spears a pig to disprove that jack is a braver boy. The boys play around, they attack another boy and for the first time your really see ralphs bad side, they play with spears and the boy gets slightly hurt. After this event Ralp feels guilty and apologizes. After wandering a little through the island, the hunter party seems to have found the flying beast which samneric saw earlier,

Through this chapter you see that the boys are becoming more wild like they act like savages, this is illustrated through the game which they played, and hurt the boy.In this chapter you see for the first that the boys do something extremly dangerous just because of fun, they almost kill one of themselves because of there dangerous games. You sense that someone will get hurt or killed in the next couple chapters because of the recent events.
