Treasure

Treasure
Clive Cussler
Fiction

Treasure is a book in a series 20 books long. It is about an air force pilot, an archeologist, and a underwater specialist. This is all one man, and he is a normal person who can achieve impossible feats to protect his country, even if he is considered as a civilian. In the book I read there is a plot to kill the Secretary-General of the UN. It is staged in a commercial airline to New York. The plane is sent crashing into the cold waters in Greenland conveniently close to an archeological dig and a secret mission to find a sunken soviet submarine. The book is made of 2 stories that are told at the same time, which makes it a little confusing. One is to overthrow the American government by sending millions of innocent Mexican civilians crashing through the border, and the other is to discover the lost art from an ancient library. The story is solved with a gunfight over a helicopter with 3 civilians versus 30 trained terrorists, being fiction, the civilians survive without casualty. I think this book would be good for anyone who like action adventure, kind of like James Bond.

  1. The series of this book seems too long, but really exciting. Good job on your post.
