Noah Barleywater is a 8 year old boy that lives on a farm with his parents. He is Quite unsatisfied with his life and decides to leave his home and parents and explore the world around him. One morning he wakes up early and decides to leave his home, st first he was a little unconfident but got used. Noah walked miles and miles and got hungry so he decided to take an apple from a tree, as soon as he approached the tree it started talking to him a moving away. He took two apples from the tree, but they dissapeard from his hands,. After this Noah went to the second village and saw he was wanted for stealing the apples, people started chasing him, but Noah managed to escape. And got to the third village here he saw a interesting tree and started at it for one hour without any time awareness all of a sudden a older man approached him and and a talking donkey they become friends but Noah learned the can shape shift into a dog.
I really enjoyed the first 50 pages of this book I thought it was interesting how there was a magical world inside a normal one
