Walk Two Moons-1

Alex Walker

Walk Two Moons
Sharon Creech
Realistic Fiction, Mystery
50/280

So far in my book  'Walk Two Moons ' Sharon Creech (the author) has explained who the main characters are and what the setting is. Also she has shown a little bit of what the plot is. Sal who is the protagonist of the story is on a journey with her grandparent to find her long lost mother who went on a trip one day and never came back.

I think that i have read enough in a two day span and if i keep up the pace i will finish with time leftover to work on the mosiac. So far not much action has happened because Sharon Creech has told about the characters, setting and now she it starting to talk about the plot a little bit.

Passage from book
"On the day that Phoebe sat next to me at lunch and told me i was brave, she invited me to her house for dinner. To be honest, i was relieved that i would not have to go eat at Margaret's again."

P. 17
I think that this passage shows that their is some tension between Sal and Margaret because she is happy that she does not have to go and eat at her house again and is glad to have someone else to eat with. It also seems that Sal is making a new friends with Phoebe.

  1. Good Job on the writing part. I liked that you included character information. Next time try adding a bit more detail on the summary section
