Code Talker: A Novel About the Navajo Marines of World War Two

Code Talker:

A Novel About the Navajo Marines of World War Two

Another normal world war book right?WRONG. Code talker is probably the most unique out of all the world war books. Its not about the USA,UK, SOVIET UNION or Nazi Germany. But it is about the native American "Navajos". This is what the book rotates around. The Navajos are people that were nearly all killed and wiped out by the "whites". They wanted to keep their land and their culture with their language, but the "whites" said "no". Thus they tried to fight them and therefore came on end with consequences. They nearly got wiped out, all there livestock was killed and territory was also burned. They were flushed out and forced to live and a territory with no food and water. SO they struggled until they signed a peace treaty agreeing to learn the "white" culture and language so they can go back to their sacred land. SO from then on their children from age 6 had to go to schools. And that's where the story takes its queue from.
