When Ardent reaches the Guard tower's of the palace of truth he disguises as a water carrier, but the guards catch him at the last checkpoint/tower.

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book, this book there's a lot of suspense, and you want to keep on reading, it really does a great job at portraying ancient Egypt and the life 3000 years ago in a mighty empire. I really like the theme, a young man who's chasing his dreams which are different from others he wants to become an artist, and he decides to chase his dreams even though, there's a great possibility he might get killed for being accused of being a spy.
