Title: My Fair Godmother
Author: Janette Rallison
Genre: Teen Fiction
Savannah is bummed out when her boyfriend dumps her for her older sister and wishes to find a guy to take her to prom. Her fairy god mother, Chrissy is like another regular teenage girl and is only what you would call a fair godmother since she never did very well in school. But when Chrissy sends Savannah back to the middle ages- once as Cinderella and then as Snow white she know she cant mess up her last wish. She wishes for a prince like guy to take her to prom. Chrissy then goes and sends a boy, Tristan from Savannah's class to become a prince in the middle ages to take her to prom. They team up to defeat a troll, dragon and knight.
This book had a very clever plot. I liked how the author showed how simple things like shampoo and bathrooms weren't used like they are used today. It showed the perfect perception of how a modern teenage girl would be in the middle ages. I would recommend this to any girl who likes to laugh and read a book about how a teen right now would perceive the middle ages.

I like how the author decided to mix different tales and incorporate them to a modern story.
