The novel continues as Gemma finds out that her art teacher is interested in myths about Gemma's powers. Felicity, Pippa, Ann and Gemma decide to form a secret group and talk about the myths. They decide to meet in the cave where their art teacher had already brought them to do sketches. In this cave, there are many drawings about gods and goddesses, protecting the cave. One night, as the girls meet in the cave for their first meeting, Gemma brings along the diary that she found while she was having a vision. When the other girls find out about the diary, they read it and we learn more and more about what is happening to Gemma. We read passages of the diary and are described a world where things are an illusion. But the person who wrote the diary tells us that when she came back to our realm with her sister, she could wish for things and they would either appear of seem like them. Gemma wonders if she can do all of these things by herself.We also learn that one of the girls is favored by an old and wealthy man. Her mother want's her to marry him, but Pippa does not want to. This is an insight of how it use to be, the parents choosing who a girl would marry. Most of the times, older and wealthier.
It sounds very interesting, but where does the story take place. Very good post.
