Ocean's Eleven tells the story of eleven thieves who plan to rob three Las Vegas casinos in one night. The book focuses on Danny Ocean, a thief who was recently released from prison. He plans to gather ten other thieves and rob the Bellagio, The Mirage, and The MGM Grand. He explains that they would have 2 weeks to do it and would share about 160 million dollars between the eleven of them. Throughout the two weeks they spend planning for the heist they encounter numerous problems, as is expected with a job like this. The group find out that Danny Ocean has different motives than just money fro robbing the wealthy casino owner, Terry Benedict. After finding out that Ocean is doing the job to get back at Terry Benedict for taking his ex-wife from him they kick Ocean off the job.
I thought that this was a really interesting book, especially in the end when it explains how they managed to rob a casino. This is one of the most interesting books I've read because of its interesting and diverse plot as well as diverse and interesting characters. This book was based on a movie and I thought that it told a lot that the movie didn't which made me enjoy the book a lot more. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a quick, and interesting read.
