Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief is the story of a sixth grade boy that learns that he is a demi god. While Percy is on his way to the Half Blood magical camp, he is followed by many monsters and his mother is taken by the monster. While Percy is trying to save his best friend from this monster  hi kills it and faints. He wakes up in a house in camp Half-Blood under the hands of the beautiful Anabeth, daughter of Athena. He also meets hansom and friendly Luke, son of  After a game of Capture the Flag Ender is attacked by a girl from the Heres Cabin that hates him as he didn't fall under her bullying. He then gets attacked by a monster whom was illegally summoned by somebody whom wants Percy's death. After beating that monster Percy falls into the water and his wound magically heal, we then learn that Percy is the son of Poseidon the god of the sea. But Percy's joy to be recognized by his father doesn't last long as he  is told that the gods  think that he is the one whom stoll Zeus' Lightning Bolt. Percy soon enters an incredible quest to find whom stoll the Lightning Bolt. Accompanied by his friends Grover and Anabeth he will encounter many monsters and  will meet his uncle Hades and ak for his mum back. At the end he will understand that he has been tricked and that Luke leaded by Lord Kronos are the real culpable. They want to destroy all god and start a new world. Percy will prove to the gods that he is not culpable and he will get his mother back. Even if his first battle is over, Percy  knows that the real battle is long from being over.

  2. I have read the whole series of the Percy Jackson novels and I think you would enjoy them. This series is in fact my all time favorite series and you should read the last one (the best one), the Last Olympian. There is also a movie but I didn't like it that much because it felt too rushed and the plot felt too different from the book.
