Then the captain of the ship Ahab appeared again.
This time with a speech to give us about what we were going to do. Then he held
out a golden ducat that he showed to his crew. It was worth a lot and he said
the first person to see a white whale will be rewarded with it. Then people
started mumbling in the crowd and saying that the white whale that he is
talking about is Moby Dick. Then one person spoke out and asked if it was him
and indeed it was. Each sailor was saying that they heard about him but most of
them said they saw him although they were probably lying. Although the captain
was getting more and more energetic with each of the stories that were told.
After that they crew talked about it for the next few days. After that somebody
finally spotted him. We quickly send out a few hunting ship to try and catch
him. We threw a few spears at him but they all missed and then he knocked our
boats over so we all hurried back to the main ship. All of us were cold and realized how big he was. There were still some spears that were stuck into him.
This book sounds really fun and exciting. I especially like this kind of adventure novels. Like 20000 leagues under the sea by jules verne is also a book kind of like this. your post is really interesting to read and organized.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like an interesting but very hard book to read, how did you do it! I really enjoy adventure novels because they just always seem exciting. I really liked your post it was very organized.
