Who is a Great Human Being
We have strted a new Unit of Exploration called the "Living Histrory" where we have to select one of the great humans that have achived something for the humankind. In this world there have been many pwople who have achived something for the world. But we have to pick 3 that really stand out from the rest, the 3 who have achieved more. From my opinion i think that the three persons that i would niminate for the greatest are: Pope John Paul the second, Saint Joan of Arc, and Anne Hutchinson.
Pope John Paul II was the first pope to start linking the orthodox and catholic church. He was once tried to be assassinated by an man from Pakistan. When the pope received he led the assasinator from jail and led him free. He was appealing for peace all around the world and that there is no more war. Saint Joan of Arc who was a hero in the dark medieval times when the church was the main law and the religion had a very strict and rigorous law, she said that god had spoken to her and she gave some of the predictions that later came true. She was burned on stake considered as a witch. and the third Anne Hutchinson who was to me one of the greatest women in our history. She was claimed to be the witch who had to be killed immediately. But in court by her great deft she claimed herself not be a witch and she was freed. However she was killed by a Indian massacre which happened in today's Bronx, New York, New England. However I chose Marshal Josip Broz Tito as my living history whom I think was a great leader and politician, and a hero of the Yugoslav people.

Marshal Josip Broz Tito
Marshal Josip Broz Tito was born on May 7th 1892. He was a Yugoslav revolutionary and starts man, serving in various roles from 1945 until his death in 1980. Even though, he was criticized as an authoritarian. Due to his successful economic and diplomatic polices Tito was seen by the most as a benevolent dictator, and was a popular public figure both in Yugoslavia and aboard.  Viewed as a unifying symbol his internal polices successfully maintained the peaceful co existence of the nations of the Yugoslav federation. He gained international attention as the chief leader of the Non- Aligned Movement, working with Jawaharlal Nehru of India, and Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt.

·         He was the leader of the world war II Yugoslav guerrilla movement the Partisans, from 1941 to 1945, and he successfully let Partisans into a victory over Germans and their collaborationists
·         He received some 98 foreign decorations, including the legion of Honor, and the Order of the Bath.
·         Tito’s funeral was the largest funeral in history.
·         Despite being one of the founders of Cominform (official forum of the international communist movement; it was a soviet Soviet dominated organization) he was also the first and the only successful comminform member to define Soviet hegemony
·         His relations with USA and Western European nations were generally cordial.
