The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (Week 5)

Title: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Author: Susanne Collins
# of pages: 391
Genre: Adventure, SciFi

Katniss is in the forests everyday to hunt while Gale has been sent down in the mines. They only see each other on Sundays. Katniss still lives her normal life beside she has a lot of money. Katniss and Peeta both have to take on a victory tour to all the districts and then the Capitol. After her visit at Gale's house she comes home to find the top game master President Snow. He wants a little discussion with her about the victory tour. He tells her that she had to give the love sparkles between her and Peeta a whole new level, because if she doesn't convince everybody he will kill Gale and his family, Peeta and his, Katniss and hers, and Haymitch. She tells him that she will do anything she can do to make everything look extra real. Not much time after her prep-team comes to style her. On the train to the next district they stop for fuel and she tells everything to Haymitch and he tells her why President Snow wanted it to be real, because every year they will mentors and they have to be in love.

A quote that explains why they always have to be in love: "Even if you pull this off, they'll be back in another few moths to take us all to the Games. You and Peeta, you'll be mentors now, every year from her on out. And every year they'll revisit the romance and broadcast the detail of your private life, and you'll never, ever be able to do anything but live happily ever after with that boy."

I like the book so far and the first book was also very good.
