The Pearl

We just finished reading a book named, The Pearl. This is a book that is quite good. The book takes place at La Paz, Mexico. It is this family of three, Coyotito (the baby), Kino (the diver) and Juana (the wife). They are a poor, Mexican and discriminated against by the Spanish. Kino is a pearl diver that makes a living off it. The story starts and takes shape when he finds this enormous pearl. He thinks of a happy life, with new clothing. But the moral of the story takes place when he wants too much and everything starts to get complicated and bad. The author uses really creative ways to transfer the message. He talks about dark figures, or evil with greed (his message). After a few in story days he has to flee and tragic things start to happen at the end.If you find this like an interesting story, go read it.
