Quote from the book: “’Don’t be afraid,’ I murmured. ‘We belong together.’ I was abruptly overwhelmed by the truth of my own words. This moment was so perfect, so right, there was no way to doubt it. His arms wrapped around me, holding me against him…. I felt like every nerve ending in my body was a live wire. ‘Forever,’ he agreed.” I chose this quote, because I really like it, although it is maybe a bit cheesy. It’s also kind of like the theme of this novel, because anything can happen; at the end Bella will still love Edward and Edward will still love Bella.

What happened until now: Bella and Edward get married, and everything works out better than Bella hoped. But then they have to end their honeymoon early, because Bella feels weird and Edward gets worried. Carlisle (Edward’s “creator”) confirms their theory- Bella is really pregnant! There is only one big problem: the baby is eating up Bella from her inside. Never did something like this happen before, but one thing is for certain, if Bella really wants to have her baby, she will not live through it- at least not as a human. The fetus is growing so fast, already after about a month, it is ready. At first, it seems like Bella isn’t going to survive, because Edward was too late, but she actually is strong enough to make it.
Then, the Cullens get to see some incredible things happening: Renesmee, the baby girl, is growing extremely fast, looking like a three-month old after three days and she has a gift with which she can show someone anything she wants to if she has physical contact with him or her. The second miracle is that Bella, although she is supposed to be wild and crazy for blood as a newborn, is very self-controlled, like no one ever before! She acts like she’s been a vampire for millennia, being able to run away from the scent of blood when in hunting-mode. The third thing, which at first upsets Bella and Edward a bit, is that Jacob imprints on Renesmee, which is good because he will protect with his life and more, and he is also not hurting over Bella anymore. For about three months, everyone is happy. Bella even finds a way to keep Charlie in her life, without putting him into danger of the Volturi, by simply telling him as little as possible.
But, of course, the inevitable happens. The Volturi (the law keepers of vampires) find out about Renesmee through an old “friend” who is mad at the Cullens because of their bond to werewolves. The Volturi get ready to attack, because they think Renesmee is like the immortal children (children who were turned into vampires at a very young age, who didn’t grow and were not to be reasoned with; they killed everyone around them). Sadly, they can’t be stopped by only the Cullens, that’s why they make a plan: they want to explain the circumstance to the Volturi, and to stop them, they want to gather as many witnesses around them as possible. So they ask any vampires they know, to come and help them. It takes some persuasion, where Renesmee’s gift is very helpful, but after a week, there are 21 vampires in addition to the Cullens plus the werewolves. Alice left together with Jasper, because one of her visions showed her that Aro, the leader of the Volturi, was after her gift, and would do anything to make her join the Volturi.
What will happen when the Cullen’s coven meets the Voltui? Will they be able to explain, or will it come to a fight? And if it comes to fighting, who will win? Read for yourself :)

I really, really enjoyed reading this book. I read it pretty fast, because I couldn’t stop reading, and now I know again why I kept reading the Twilight Books in the first place: Stephenie Meyer can write so excitingly, she can make you not be able to keep yourself from reading! In this book, something new and interesting happened on every page and I just loved it. Although I still agree with some of the criticism about the series in general, I really like this book. It, for sure, is my favorite from this series. Thumps up high :)
