People Of The Wolf

This book is about a group of caveman that are trying to survive in the harsh wilderness. It starts out when the main character wakes up and remembers that one of the people in his group has died and is there perfectly preserved because of the snow. It was the coldest winter every and they have been starving for days, ever since the others have pushed them out of their land and forced them into the passage. Then came the moment when they had to sacrifice wolf, so they could eat him to survive. He sent his prayers and then killed him. He could see the steam that was coming out of his body he drank the warm blood and gave it to the other group so they were not starving anymore.
