Eclipse 2

Eclipse

Fantasy+Romance

Quote from the book: “Oops—seven murders,” she corrected herself. “I forgot about his guards. They only took a second.” This is something Rosalie tells Bella. It is very significant, because there was always a bit of tension between Rosalie and Bella; she was always the one Cullen who Bella didn’t get along with that well. Rosalie is telling Bella her story- how she became a vampire and also why she doesn’t like Bella that much: she is jealous! Because Rosalie had a perfect life, until her fiancé and his friends nearly killed her and Carlisle fortunately found her and saved her by turning her into a vampire.

What happened until now: This part I read was all about Bella soon becoming a vampire and needing to say goodbye to her old life- to her friends and family. She also tries to spend as much time as possible with Jacob, and although werewolves and vampires are enemies, Edward decides that Jacob will take care of Bella and doesn’t restrain her anymore to go down to La Push, where Jacob and his pack lives. Bella and Jacob have a small fight, because Jacob says to her that he would want her to be dead rather than a vampire, when he finds out that she will get turned so very soon. But they fast make up again, and everything is fine. Except for that Victoria is still trying to get to Bella and a gang of new vampires is killing people in a town near Forks, called Seattle. Bella doesn’t even notice that time goes past so fast and it makes her think again if she really wants to become a vampire right after graduation.

I liked this part of the book better again; there was more suspense and more action. I hope that it will continue like that. I can’t wait to find out if Bella will actually become a vampire in this book or in the next one; and what will happen to the relationship between Jacob and Bella. So yeah, still thumps up! :)
